Welcome to our clinic for the summer. Whether you are a beginner or advanced spinner, or an instructor--- Come join us in the fun!!! Different movement and technique exercises will be taught, so please plan to attend. We will start stretching and movement class and then separate into different groups for the equipment portions of the clinic--we will focus on different equipment as time and participation allows.Lunch is included. We will have Subway sandwiches, snacks and water. Please let us know of any special dietary concerns and we will do our best to accommodate.All participants should be at least 7 years of age. Participation is open to anyone in elementary school, middle school, high school, college, or for any instructors who would like to join in the fun!!Due to the large number of interested attendees, those wishing to join us for our Clinic should email us at independencecg@yahoo.com to confirm and reserve their spot. Any updates or changes will be emailed to those individuals who have registered. All respondents will receive a confirmation email with important documents which need to be completed and brought to the clinic.We will have flags available for those in the younger age groups. If you are already involved in the activity, we ask that you bring your own equipment.Wear proper attire as we will be outside all day. Bring sunscreen and bug spray.Please bring snacks and a water bottle for breaks. Please bring a swimsuit and towel if you plan on staying for the pool party.

After a largely successful 2007 season, the Independence Winter Guard of Tinley Park, Illinois celebrates it's 10th Anniversary this year.
Independence has the philosophy that all members must be encouraged to learn using the fundamental rules established by WGI and MWCGC and grow as both performers and as people. This growth is achieved by cooperation, respect and teamwork within the members ranks, staff and also other Winter Guards.
Over the past 10 years, many individuals have been generous with their time and effort in keeping this once small organization thriving. Since its inception, the Independence Winter Guard has maintained an all volunteer staff. Many talented individuals have graced this organization with their abilities and positive attitudes to instruct our members and help them grow as individuals. Thank you to everyone who has given of their time over the years!!
